   Dick Saylor has been a fixture on the local Bluegrass Scene for the past 15 years, singing and playing guitar with the Bluegrass Countrymen and Dick Saylor and Friends.  His bands have played at the Allentown Fair, Flemington Fair, AFBA Bluegrass Festival, Heartlands Hayride, PB&FS Winterfest and other area festivals, shindigs and venues.  As a singer and songwriter, he has recorded 3 CDs of original music and has 75 songs registered with BMI.  He is the former host of the popular WDVR-FM Bluegrass Junction program and has now started an online webcast, to continue, to bring you the very best in American country and bluegrass music.

    Dick Saylor has lived in Easton PA his entire life, growing up farming, a short time away serving 4 years in the United States Navy, as a Radioman and later driving a truck for a living.  He has received many driving awards, is a member of the prestigious 3 million mile club and drove for Preston Trucking until they closed their doors.  His passion, now that he's retired, has been to sing, play and broadcast his favorite traditional bluegrass and old time country music.

    As a husband and father, he has been married to his wife Ruth for over 45 years with 3 children and 4 grand-children.

    The Dick Saylor and Friends webcast goal is to preserve and promote the best American country and bluegrass music that we all know and love.
